Red Shores door rules and card points
The rules at the door of either Red Shores hall fit in a line or two, and they are mostly about your age. The Rewards Club card comes with a few more, and every one of them is set out below.

Nineteen on the floor
Both Red Shores halls admit only people 19 or older to their gaming floors. Atlantic Lottery's minimum age to buy, play or cash in any of its products is 19. The Lotteries Commission Act supports this by banning the sale of lottery or race tickets to people under 19.
Red Shores does not publish a rule on checking ID at the door. Carrying government-issued photo ID is still a sensible habit at any casino. You will need it anyway for a Rewards Club card.
Getting the card at the desk
Getting a Rewards Club card costs nothing, but only one counter issues it: the Rewards Club Desk inside the Charlottetown casino. Summerside has no way to hand one out. Anyone living up west can work it into a night in Charlottetown. The minimum age is 19, and the desk asks for valid government-issued photo ID. It takes questions at 902-620-4266 before you set off.

Where the points come from
On the slots, every $2 played earns 1 point. Tables work differently, with points based on how long you play and your average bet. The card has to go to the dealer before you start. Points turn into slot credits through Points2Play, and they also take money off at the restaurants.
The catch is time away from the hall. If an account shows no activity for 12 months running, it is closed and the points go with it. Someone who visits the island every couple of years should not count on old points still being there.
Quick answers
Can a 19-year-old visitor from away get a card?
Red Shores publishes two conditions, both about age and ID: a minimum age of 19 and valid government-issued photo ID on hand. The card costs nothing and comes from the Rewards Club Desk inside the Charlottetown casino.
How do slot points add up on the card?
Every $2 played on the slots earns 1 point. Points then turn into slot credits through Points2Play or money off at the restaurants.
Does the card count at the tables too?
It does at the Charlottetown tables, where your points are based on your playing time and your average bet. Give the card to the dealer before play begins.
